Bags of Hope

If you'd like to give to Bags of Hope CT,  please visit the Lighthouse Church giving page and select 'Bags of Hope'.

The Bags of Hope ministry was started in 2011 in Seekonk, MA by John and Kimberly Gagne to provide monogrammed duffle bags filled with comfort items to children in local foster care. Many children in foster care carry their belongings in a trash bag. The Bags of Hope goal is to replace these trash bags with personalized duffle bags.

In 2018 Bags of Hope CT was started  by Steve & Kathie Perry as a Lighthouse Church Ministry to fill the needed gap and provide foster children in Connecticut with their own personalized duffle bags. In the first year alone, Bags of Hope was able to provide over  400 bags to children in Connecticut Foster Care.
